Industry News: 2015 Was A Banner Year for Coal Ash Recycling

According to the American Coal Ash Association, 2015 saw more than half the coal ash produced in the United States recycled. 52 percent of last year’s coal ash was recycled for beneficial uses. This was in contrast to 2014 which saw 48 percent recycled. Overall, the U.S. produced 10 percent less coal ash in 2015 than in 2014.
