ME2C Recently Hires New Staff in Key Positions

New Employees

Midwest Energy Emissions Corp. has hired three new employees in key positions, as it expects record growth in 2016.

Mr. Pat Mongoven, has been hired as ME2C’s Midwest Regional Sales Manager. Mongoven is an experienced sales professional with over 30 years of experience working with utility and industrial boilers.  Prior to joining ME2C, Mongoven was the Business Development Manager for Flue Gas Conditioning for Mississippi Lime, where he worked with utilities and industrial boilers to reduce acid gas emissions using Dry Sorbent Injection of hydrated lime. He has also served as the Midwest Regional Manager for Fuel Tech and spent over 20 years in various sales and sales management roles for Nalco Chemical Company. Mr. Mongoven received his Chemical Engineering degree from Lehigh University in 1983.

Mr. Will O’Neal, has also been hired as ME2C’s Southeast Regional Sales Manager. O’Neal has nearly 20 years of experience in the utility industry. Prior to his position at ME2C, O’Neal spent more than 16 years in various sales roles at Fuel Tech, Inc. He started out as a District Representative, promoted to Account Manager, Sr. Account Manager, and ultimately to Regional Sales Manager of the Mid-South U.S., including some additional state responsibility. Prior to Fuel Tech; Will served as an Environmental Consultant/Engineer with Hazclean Environmental Consultants, and Co-op Engineer with Kerr McGee Chemical Corporation. O’Neal graduated from Mississippi State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.

In addition to the sales staff, ME2C has also hired Mr. Todd Ferrell as Controller at the company headquarters in Lewis Center, Ohio. Mr. Ferrell has held progressive roles in accounting for over 20 years. He is experienced in multiple accounting system migrations, the development of standard processes and procedures, budgeting, financial analysis, and utilizing technology to streamline the close process. In his most recent position as Controller of Thurmond McGlothlin/Energy Meter Systems, Mr. Ferrell’s was instrumental in turning around the company’s profitability and cash flow issues. Prior to Thurmond McGlothlin Mr. Ferrell was a Subsidiary Controller for United Retirement Plan Consultants. He graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from Ohio State University and began his career as an Audit Associate at Coopers and Lybrand, Inc.
